The Glengarry, Nor'Westers & Loyalist Museum

Williamstown, ON

The historic village of Williamstown, Ontario, is home to the Glengarry, Nor’Westers and Loyalist Museum, which preserves and interprets the history of the United Empire Loyalist migration to Glengarry County and of the Glengarry partners of the North West Company.

Come and explore the rich heritage of Glengarry County and its fascinating beginnings in what is Glengarry’s greatest “hidden” gem.  Stay and explore the rest of the village of Williamstown, which includes the Williamstown Fair Grounds, Sir John Johnson Manor House, the Bethune/Thompson House, the Celtic Music Hall of Fame, a rich assortment of older and picturesque homes, two incredibly historic churches, and wonderful folks who smile and wave.

Not merely stoic in its' staunch preservation of local heritage, the Glengarry, Nor'westers & Loyalist Museum also enacts and hosts a wide variety of educational programs and exciting events.
