Special thanks to the Township of South Glengarry, our invaluable partner in preserving the area’s past. South Glengarry is known as Ontario’s Celtic Heartland and we are proud to be partnered with the township in the preservation and interpretation of the story of the predominantly Scottish immigrants who settled the area.

2017 & Construction of the Pavilion
As part of a sesquicentennial initiative by the museum, a pavilion was built on museum grounds to house outdoor activities and alleviate traffic within Georgian structure of the museum itself. Many generous donors gave both funds and good in kind as well as time in expertise for this project including but not limited to; McDougall Homes, the Township of South Glengarry, Cruickshank Aggregates and Concrete, Donkers Millwright, Glenn Lauzon Trucking, & Viau Excavation.
