The Glengarry, Nor’Westers & Loyalist Museum is located in the historic village of Williamstown, Ontario. It proudly displays the history of the Loyalist migration to Glengarry County following the Treaty of Paris in 1783 and the Revolutionary War. Those born to the settlers of Glengarry became the next generation of prominent fur traders, becoming wintering partners in the North West Company, fierce competition to the Hudson’s Bay Company until their amalgamation in 1821. Their lives and the trade they plied are depicted along with military and aboriginal artefacts from the era to offer up a unique and intriguing glimpse of this period in Canada’s rich history.
Reporting to the curator, the assistant curator will be available from May 9th, 2022 to August 29th 2022.

The assistant curator will also work with the team to welcome visitors, provide surveillance, support special events and participate in regular museum upkeep and tracking of statistics.
