Trapper: Individual membership for one person (cost of $20). Wintering Partner: Dual membership for two people (cost of $30) Previous "Lifetime Members" are grandfathered in although we do not offer that form of membership anymore |
HOW TO RENEW:
To enter simply email or call our team at [email protected] or 613-347-3547, respectively, and provide us with your relevant contact info. Payment of dues can be sent via cheque to us at the address below, dropped off in cash or cheque to the museum (please contact in advance to be sure we know you're coming), or we are now accepting e-transfer and so dues can be sent to the museum electronically to [email protected] (please be sure to add your information to the messages/notes portion of the transfer).
Once payment is received, you will be added to our membership community and be signed up to receive our newsletter and other mail-outs (of which there are typically no more than 4 per month).

It's that time again and we'd love to see you back. You may renew:

Membership is crucial to the museum community, providing much needed funding and popular support to offset the cost of museum operations while also creating a network of individuals keen on the museum’s activities and growth. We appreciate and are grateful of the support of our members, such as yourselves. To reward our loyal members we include the following museum offers:
First notice for events where tickets/seating are limited.
Attendance at our Annual General Meetings where members get updated with yearly reports from the museum executive, vote on pressing museum matters if the cause arises, and also enjoy social time with the museum community with refreshments offered by the museum (RSVP required).
Digital copies of “The Express; the Glengarry, Nor’Westers & Loyalist Museum Newsletter”.
Reduced rates for upcoming Tea Talks for the 2025 season
Members that have taken out and paid for a membership for at least 2 consecutive years will also enjoy $50 off for any rental of the Williamstown Room or pavilion/grounds.
Members can also enjoy free tours both in the summer during our open hours and by appointment in the winter hours.
Members can enjoy access to the museum lending library featuring works on the fur trade, Loyalists, Glengarry County, larger narratives in the history of Upper Canada, as well as works by local authors or about the area.
Most importantly, members are welcome to come to the museum to volunteer, including at events and for our various activities!
Our Early Bird Draw, for those who renew their 2025 memberships by December 31, 2024, will be entered into a draw to win their 2025 membership along with a prize package (one each for Wintering Partner and Trapper) from the museum gift shop.
